	East Portland Explorer
	Cruise along the East coast of the rugged Isle of Portland. Enjoy the view of the Victorian breakwaters and their forts which had an important role to play during the Second World War. Pass the South Entrance which was blocked in 1914 to protect the harbour from submarine attack. View the Verne Citadel from the sea, and find out about Nicodemus Knob!

A 1½ hour cruise, either Jurassic Coast or East Portland Explorer departs every day in summer, weather permitting.

1pm - 2.30pm

Jurassic Coast Cruise

Take a trip across Weymouth Bay and admire the Georgian seafront. View Burning Cliff and Upton Fort. See how the cliffs were formed 160 million years ago as we motor close in along the coastline. Journey past Osmington and Redcliff Point. On some cruises we may be able to get as far as Durdle Door, an incredible rock arch.

Monday night is Firework Night!

Enjoy a mini cruise with a fish and chip supper, and watch the show.

Booking in advance is advised

8.30pm to 9.45pm.

Adult ~ £14, Senior ~ £12,

Scattering of Ashes

	Many people, either for reasons of their faith or from past association with the sea, wish to have their ashes scattered at sea. We offer this service throughout the year from Weymouth or Portland Harbours. We would take the group out to sea about a mile or so offshore and stop the boat and engine. The group can scatter the ashes into the sea with any floral tributes or other devotional items. When they are ready, and not before, we return to Weymouth or Portland Harbour. This normally takes approximately 45 minutes in all. This service operates throughout the year, but is subject to suitable weather conditions. There is no restriction from tides or the Town Bridge. Car parking is close by.
